- Can I book?
- No. As pitches are not marked out we do not take bookings under any circumstances.
- Can groups of 10+ pre book?
- No. But you do have to contact us to determine if we will accept your group.
- Can I arrive and pay for my friends?
- Only if you have their tents to erect on their behalf.
- Do we take touring caravans?
- No. We don’t have a licence for tourers.
- When can I arrive?
- Any time between 9a.m. and 11p.m.
- Can I bring my dog?
- No. Hillend is strictly a dog-free site.
- Can I Barbeque?
- No disposables please. Traditional BBQs are permitted provided they do not scorch the grass.
- Can I book 1 night only?
- If you arrive on a Friday on busy weekends we may take a minimum 2 night stay. On bank holidays we generally take a minimum 3 night stay which must include Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
- Can I arrive on a Saturday?
- Yes if we have space. At peak times we do not recommend Saturday arrivals as we are often full.
- What time do I have to vacate my pitch?
- By 12 noon please. You can park in the car park all day as long as the tent pitch is free.
- Can I re-book?
- Yes. Once you have your pitch you can book additional nights by 12 noon on your last day.
- Do I get a discount for booking a week or more?
- Yes, we offer 10%.
